The Vintage Secret est. 2020
The Vintage Secret is a Melbourne based online jewellery boutique, specialising in repurposing the components of vintage designer treasures such as jewellery, buttons, belts and bag charms to give them a second life. Our mission is to find lovely new owners for pre-loved authentic designer pieces that we have created into unique jewellery collectables.
All of the components we use are handpicked with care and crafted with a focus on style, quality, functionality and sustainability. We source all of our pieces from reputable suppliers to ensure we are working with authentic vintage designer components. Often these pieces will have worn or damaged parts, so they are no longer in pristine condition, as naturally happens to belongings over time, no matter how well they are cared for.
When purchasing our jewellery you are purchasing original designs incorporating repurposed designer components. We make something new out of upcycled vintage designer components, combined with new chains, bracelets and earring hooks to produce distinctive and unique pieces so that when you wear them you are not only supporting sustainability but also wearing a renewed classic.
